This policy explains what information Remix Closet collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Remix Closet is operated by BlackRidge Platforms LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("we", "us"). If you have questions, email chris@blackridgeplatforms.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Photos you upload: pictures of your clothing and, if you choose, photos of yourself used for virtual try-on.
- Wardrobe content: garment names, categories, colors, outfits you save, and style preferences you enter.
- Payment information: if you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and plan status. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic request information such as IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting, and keeping the service running.
- Cookies: one essential sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To run your account, store your wardrobe, and show you your outfits.
- To create AI try-on images when you request them.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To protect the service from abuse and to fix problems.
- To contact you about your account, billing, or important changes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos to advertise.
AI try-on and OpenAI
When you request a virtual try-on, the garment photos and body reference photos you select are sent to OpenAI, our AI provider, to generate the image. You are asked to agree before each request. OpenAI processes this data to provide the service to us under its API terms. Try-on images are AI visualizations and may not show exact fit, color, or proportions.
Where your data is stored
Your account data is stored in a managed database, and your photos are stored privately in cloud object storage (Amazon S3 compatible). Photos are only accessible through your signed-in account. Our hosting and service providers are located in the United States.
Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run Remix Closet: our hosting and database provider, our cloud storage provider, OpenAI (for try-ons you request), and Stripe (for payments). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, wardrobe, outfits, and try-on records from our database and starts deletion of your stored photos. Stripe may keep billing records as required by law.
Your choices and rights
- View and update your wardrobe and profile in the app.
- Delete your account and data from Account settings.
- Cancel a subscription from billing settings in your account.
- Email us to ask for a copy of your information or for help with any request.
Children
Remix Closet is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18, use Remix Closet only with a parent or guardian's permission.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, private photo storage, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
